Speedpak Contract Services – commercial and social enterprise in comfortable co-existence

Speedpak Contract Services has experienced a significant increase in its contract packing business over the past twelve months.

This service primarily features fast-turnaround breaking bulk, shrink-wrapping, twinning, labelling, assembly and re-packing of packaging products, pre-packed food and beauty products for wholesalers, manufacturers, printers and distributors.

Interest in our e-commerce fulfilment service is also growing. We are now picking, packing and dispatching clothing, OTC medical supplies and electronics products for our expanding B2C and B2B online retailer customers.

With over 20 years of experience in managing a diverse range of projects combined with a strong learning culture, Speedpak staff have unique insights and valuable expertise that allow us to provide a highly efficient service for its customers.

This helps us to operate very effectively in our role as a social enterprise providing all training staff with an optimal, realistic and valuable work experience in a busy commercial environment

Busy summer at Shamrock Rosettes social enterprise

Busy summer at Shamrock Rosettes social enterprise

While many businesses relax, take holidays or even close for a couple of weeks during the summer months, Speedpak Group’s Shamrock Rosettes experiences its busiest time of the year.

We are fortunate, and grateful, to have many fantastic customers including the organisers of two of the summer’s biggest events, the Dublin Horse Show and the Tullamore Show.

In line with our commitment to innovation – one of our core corporate values – we continue to work hard to develop new product styles and designs in response to customer demand and, obviously, in order to remain competitive.

Meanwhile our market development activity will feature the launch of a new website focussing primarily on the German market later in the season.

We need your help!

We would be very grateful if you would consider sharing with us any contacts that you have in the German and/or Austrian equestrian industry such as riding schools, competition organisers etc. in order to help us build our customer base in the region.

Speedpak hosts Social Enterprise Policy launch event

Speedpak CLG board and staff were honoured to host the Minister for Rural and Community Development, Michael Ring T.D. for the launch the new National Social Enterprise Policy for Ireland on Thursday 18th July 2019.

In his speech, Minister Ring said:

“It is fitting that the new Social Enterprise Policy should be launched in the premises of the Speedpak Group. Speedpak was founded in the 1990s in North Dublin City to address the issue of high unemployment in one of Dublin’s most disadvantaged areas. To date, Speedpak has employed and trained over 1,150 people, bringing a significant impact to individuals and families in these communities. The company is a great example of what a social enterprise can accomplish and I wish them continued success in the future.”
