Speedpak Group secures Dormant Account Fund Grant to improve accessibility, productivity and sustainability in its Social Enterprise businesses.
Delighted to see so many fellow hashtagsocialenterprises at yesterdays Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht Pobal Dormant Accounts Fund hashtagDAF Growing Social Enterprise Fund hashtagawards event. It was superbly hosted in FoodCloud, one of Irelands leading social enterprises with a growing international footprint. Great for the audience to hear their story & impact along with fellow awardees Sensational Kids & The National 1798 Rebellion Centre in providing environmental, health and education solutions. At Speedpak Group securing the fund will allow us to adapt our facilities to train and employ more local talent that experience mobility challenges. In addition the fund will support our hashtagsustainability allowing us upgrade lighting in our warehouses & purchase plant & equipment, improving both our commercial efficiency as well as our industry work experience & training offering in Speedpak Contract Services & e-Commerce Fulfilment. It was also heartening to see that both Government Ministers Dara Calleary & Jerry Buttimer (& their officials) have a genuine interest, solid understanding and appreciate the value of hashtagsocialenterprise. Things are looking good for the sector Social Enterprise Republic of Ireland. Darndale Belcamp Village Centre The Big Idea – Ireland Vantastic
