Speedpak Goup is delighted to announce that applications are now being accepted for the February 2019 Traineeship in Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Customer Service Logistics

This is a nationally-accredited work and learning programme that will be delivered over 30 weeks from February 2019.

The Traineeship is run by Coláiste Dhúlaigh College of Further Education in association with Speedpak CLG and local industry partners–locally based manufacturers, distributors, retailers, wholesalers and logistics companies. Training will be delivered primarily at the Speedpak premises with external work placements being provided by our industry partners in a variety of locations.

We have designed the Traineeship to equip participants with the skills and work experience required by our Industry Partners who are currently seeking people with skills in warehousing, manufacturing operations, logistics, stock control, distribution and people who have a strong understanding of customer service. Applicants for these roles will have a distinct jobs market advantage on successful completion of the Traineeship.

Through coaching and one-to-one mentoring we support Trainees in identifying, defining and pursuing the career path that best suits them. This includes help with developing their confidence, self-esteem, communications, team working and organisational skills. We also help participants choose a work placement host and with their applications for jobs, apprenticeships or further education.

We are able to deliver this Traineeship with the support of Solas, Coláiste Dhúlaigh College of Further Education and local industry partners. Speedpak’s role as lead industry partner is being supported with investment from The Social Innovation Fund Ireland, The Ireland Funds, The Allergan International Foundation and JP Morgan.
